NEW FEATURES!
Hello everyone!
I am happy to announce that tomorrow's show will see the introduction/ trial of two new features.
In addition to See It, Rent It, Skip It, in which I'll be giving you my film recommendations for the coming week, you will be treated to the following:
- Cover of the Week: Playing a cover (duh) and looking at the song's lineage. Will often be the wierdest version of a song I can find, and this week it's a good example of that.
- Classic Albums: A brief review of a classic album (has to be at least 10 years old). Think of the Classic Albums documentary series, teamed with Christian Bale's speeches in American Psycho, take out the vicious murders, et voila!
That's what you can expect then, tomorrow afternoon. I'll be posting the week-on-week choices in the usual place (i.e. here on the blog).
Just a reminder that there's no interview this week, though we hope to have a guest with us on May 6th. Watch this space...

Hall of Fame - Week 2 (22/4/10)
Last week we were joined by Andy Hayes, the acclaimed director of 4Play: Money Can't Buy Love. Unfortunately, me being the fool that I am, I forgot to take a photo of him in the studio. Hence the generic mugshot lifted from Facebook:
There is no guest this week, but tune in for David Bowie, Genesis, Cara Dillon and a really great number from Snake and Jet's Amazing Bullitt Band. See you tomorrow, 1-3pm!

Hall of Fame - Week 1 (15/4/10)
Every week I'll be posting up photos of my guests. So without any further ado, here's the first instalment:
Your faithful host. I'm wearing a hoodie sent to me by Thomas Wales, my old co-host from Mumbling On back last year. Am really chuffed with it :)
Mike Pearson, actor and student, who dropped by to discuss his acting career. Mike is a legend among Alnwick circles, thanks to roles in South Pacific, Disco Inferno and Jesus Christ Superstar (click on the hyperlinks for reviews, courtesy of the Northumberland Gazette).
Don't forget to join me and my next guest, Andrew Brett Hayes, tomorrow between 1pm and 3pm! We look forward to your company.

This week's special guest
This coming Thursday is a special show. Between 1pm and 2pm (i.e. the first hour) we will be joined by Andrew Brett Hayes, the director of 4Play: "Money Can't Buy Love", the new InterACT project which is now touring the north-east. I was there on the opening night at the Alnwick Playhouse; a tremendous show, and boy can this guy direct.
Plus they'll be a wide range of music on offer, including a wicked album track from Marina & The Diamonds.
Hope you'll be able to join us this Thursday, 1-3pm, on Lionheart Radio, 107.3FM or online at http://www.lionheartradio.com/!

A Very Warm Welcome
Hello everyone, and welcome to Mix and Match with Mumby on Lionheart Radio, 107.3FM!
