NO SHOW - AGAIN

Sorry if I got your hopes up with promise of a Saturday show, but I've been forced to call that off too because of this confounded weather. Like many of you I'm under a foot of snow and am therefore keeping journeys, both on foot and on road, to an absolute minimum.

Rest assured, as soon as things improve I will be back on the air, both on my own and with Paul Young. Until then just bear with me, and I will let you know how things look for this coming Thursday.

Stay warm,

Daniel x

NO SHOW THIS WEEK

Due to the adverse weather conditions (if you haven't noticed the snow, where have you been?), I can't get to my show today and so there will not be a show.

I hope to bring you a 'make-up' show this Saturday from 10am to 12pm. And when I say 'make-up', I mean making up for today's cancellation, not a whole two-hour programme about mascara.

If Saturday goes ahead as planned (i.e. if I don't get properly snowed in) there will be an exclusive premiere of a two-part drama recorded by myself and some friends earlier in the year.

Hope you (and I) can be there on Saturday. Enjoy the snow while it lasts.

Branching Out

Just a quick announcement to say I'll soon be coming to your in much smaller doses on a Saturday morning.

Paul Young, who broadcasts from 9am to 12pm every Saturday, is increasing his coverage of all things film-related. I shall be presenting a section of cult films and perhaps helping him out with the Box Office Top 10.

The first film I'll be examining is The Bed-Sitting Room, an incredibly odd post-apocalypse tale of hardship, from the pen of Spike Milligan and the director of Superman II and III.

If you want to take an advanced gander at my thoughts, you can check out my review at http://threemenonablog.blogspot.com/2010/10/film-review-bed-sitting-room-1969.html. All my other reviews are up there as well.

I'll be on the programme from 10am and we'll see how things pan out. Talk to you then :)

This Week's Guest

This week I'll be joined on the programme by James Etherington, who works for the Bailiffgate Museum.

Mr. Etherington will be on the programme from 2:15pm to talk about the auction taking place at the Museum on November 5th starting at 5:30pm.

Hope you can join me then :)
